Description
The SCADA Compatible Flow Control Valve (FCV), also known as an intelligent control valve or automatic control valve, is used in applications where flow reduction is required. In this valve, two solenoid valves act as pilot valves to control the flow and pressure of the main valve. When a pulse is given to the inlet solenoid valve, the upper chamber fills with water, creating pressure that closes the diaphragm and shuts the main valve with spring force.
When a pulse is applied to the outlet solenoid valve, the pressure in the upper chamber is released, allowing the main valve to gradually open and enable smooth flow through the system.
